Transplanting Trees

Sorry! I am still trying to put this page together while running the business and doing all the work at the same time. This subject warrants considerable attention. A lot of money is spent on tree planting and the results are too often unsuccessful. Even when the tree survives for a number of years, problems occur as time goes by. A tree that is grown in a container of any type restricts root development and deviates the direction of root growth. A cursory examination of the literature on the subject reveals instructions about pruning the roots so that they have a better chance of radiating away from the trunk in a normal, healthy manner. I am shocked by the absence of this process in the actual experience. Survival rates for planted trees is too low, but the average rate is usually considered acceptable. I find this unacceptable.
